Wide Open Spaces

By Kalleen Elene (Ginge) Kvien

I didnít know I loved

my old house in the country

I could run for miles

frolicking in the fields

with my brothers

freedom all around us

Going on imaginary adventures

through the deep dark woods

falling asleep listening

to the whistle of the wind

peace all around us

All that is just memories now

And I didnít know I loved it that much
