Grandpa's Last Goodbye by Emma Bjerk
grease stains on the floor
dust is now everywhere
as I open up the door
I can still see him there
glasses and gray hair
handsomely tall
his joyful spirit fills the air
brings happiness to all
then in a flash I see the red
I watch the cars hit
I wake up screaming in my bed
and realized I re-dreamed it. |
